  • Our primary target market is the youth aged 18-49 largely known as Generation Y, "a generation of pioneers, shaping and writing the new frontier of human interaction and communication the internet - they are the guinea pigs of this profound technology, as no other generation has lived such a large fraction of their lives with this technology." according to the urban dictionary.

  • Majority of this group is very techno savvy and uses social networks and instant messaging. They are also financially savvy, so because majority of this generation still lives at home, they have a huge influence on the family purchase decisions for a variety of items from clothes to cars.

Editor's Letter

Social Entrepreneurship is a way of life, the world would a better place if more companies and people cared a bit more about improving the lives of others for the betterment of society. We need to increase the volumes of our voices and influence regarding advocating and bringing about of awareness on the essential impact that Social Good by individuals and businesses that are for good and not only for profit, can do to change the lives of the marginalised and impoverished.
Many of the solutions to the world’s problems lie with Social Entrepreneurs who are the innovators and visionaries that pioneer initiatives and programs that have measureable social economic impact. Research shows that businesses that support the communities that they operate in or are close to, make more profits than those that do not have any CSR initiatives in their communities. These are the companies that will remain memorable and ultimately loved and supported by society. This Spring’s Issue was compiled with this in mind and thus our choice of interviewees who are successful Social entrepreneurs and young professionals.
